Common Questions

What do the temperature ratings mean?
The Wrap Sack has both a Comfort and Limit rating. The Comfort rating is the lowest temp a cold sleeper will feel comfortable, while the Limit rating is for warmer sleepers. Thanks to its WrapAdapt™ layering system, the Wrap Sack has two sets of ratings:
Two layers:
Comfort 30ºF (-1°C) | Limit 20ºF (-6°C)
One layer:
Comfort 45ºF (7°C) | Limit 35ºF (2°C)

Can I use this sleeping bag for winter camping?
The Wrap Sack 20° Sleeping Bag is intended for three-season camping in spring, summer, and fall; and is best used for tent camping, vehicle-supported camping, and as a sleep solution for rustic indoors (cabins, bunkhouses, lake houses). We do not recommend the Wrap Sack for winter camping conditions.
How do I clean my Wrap Sack?
The Wrap Sack, like most Rumpl products, is machine washable. We recommend you wash on cold with a non-detergent soap like Granger's Wash & Repel on a gentle cycle. Only wash your Rumpl in a front-loading washing machine (no agitators!).
How do Rumpl puffy blankets integrate with the Wrap Sack?
Using the Cape Clip® connections on the exterior of your Wrap Sack Sleeping Bag and your puffy blanket, snap the component hardware together clip-to-clip along the long edges of both products, then simply fold over your puffy blanket for an added layer of warmth.
What materials and insulation are used in the Wrap Sack 20° Sleeping Bag?
The Wrap Sack repurposes 155 recycled plastic bottles into its shell and insulation. It features RenewaLoft™ insulation in the outer layer and NanoLoft® insulation in the inner layers and hood. Both are synthetic, which allows these materisl to dry faster and provide warmth even when wet.
How should I store my Wrap Sack?
For long-term storage, use the larger storage bag to keep insulation lofted and maintain performance. Avoid leaving it in the smaller stuff sack, as this can cause clumping. Store the smaller stuff sack in the mesh storage bag's side pocket and snap it closed so you don't lose it!
Is the Wrap Sack 20° Sleeping Bag covered by your warranty policy?
Yes! Like all Rumpl products, we stand by the quality and performance of the Wrap Sack 20° Sleeping Bag. If there are any defects on your registered product, you will be covered under our Rumpl Warranty Policy for up to 1 year from purchase and we'd be happy to help you with a free exchange via our returns portal.

    Baja Blast!

    I've been a strong supporter of Rumpl for many years and was SO excited to see a sleeping bag finally made! I appreciate how you can decide how warm (or lack thereof) you can make the wrap sack. The clasps on the side make it easy to adjust the warmth and get in and out of the wrap sack. I used my Baja camp pillow and had no issues with it staying in place (thanks to the engineering Rumpl built) .

    The only "negative" I would say is be careful opening/using the zipper on the wrap sack. Since this is made from puffy material, it can get caught easily in the zipper, so be very careful to not get it stuck. Other than that, can't complain!

    Great concept but quite heavy

    Fabulous concept for a sleeping bag, but incredibly bulky (think carry on suitcase size) and quite heavy (5 lbs for sure). This is definitely a car camping sleeping bag.
