Alaska & Hawaii: Shipping costs vary and will be displayed at checkout.
Other U.S. Territories: We offer standard shipping to other U.S. Territories starting at $17.99.
International: Shipping outside the US is currently unavailable while we evaluate better options for our international customers. Shopping from Canada? Visit rumpl.ca. In Australia or New Zealand? Visit rumpl.com.au.
Important Notes: Rates can increase for large orders. Final shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Rates listed above do not include duties and taxes which may apply for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and other U.S. territories, and will be charged upon arrival in the destination country.
What shipping options do you offer?
We offer the following shipping options for orders within the contiguous United States. Please note: The 1-3 day processing time still applies to expedited orders.
Standard Ground Shipping: Typically arrives within 3-5 business days after order processing.
2-3 Day Express Shipping: Faster delivery within 2-3 business days after order processing.
We use OnTrac, DHL, FedEx, and USPS as our carriers.
For orders outside the contiguous U.S., we provide standard shipping via USPS Priority Mail.
How long does it take to ship my order?
It typically takes 1-3 business days for our warehouse to process an order and same-day shipping is not guaranteed. Orders placed late on Friday and over the weekend won’t ship until Monday at the earliest.
Orders with express shipping receive priority picking and packing at our warehouse. We ship from Henderson, Nevada, so West Coast orders usually arrive a day or two sooner.
Customized MyRumpl blankets are delivered separately from non-custom orders and will take an estimated 1-2 weeks to ship.
How do I qualify for free shipping?
Shipping is free for qualifying orders with a cart value of $75+ within the contiguous 48 states. Add item(s) to your cart to hit the shipping threshold. If eligible, you'll see free shipping options at checkout (based on your post-discount pre-tax total).
Please note: Pro orders are not eligible for free shipping. Some promotional items may also be excluded from free shipping.
Where's my order?
We email you a tracking link as soon as your order ships. Can’t find it? Check your spam folder, then track your order or email info@rumpl.com with your order number.
I entered the wrong shipping address, how can I correct it?
Email us right away at info@rumpl.com with "Urgent" in the subject line, your order number, and the correct shipping address. We only have a short window to make changes after an order is placed, but we'll do our best to update it.
Can I change or cancel my order?
We have a very small window to make changes to orders once they are submitted. Email info@rumpl.com with ‘Urgent’ in the subject line and your order number, and tell us what you’d like to change (a color, style, or size) or that you’d like to cancel. We will do our best to accommodate your request. If we are unable to complete your request we will help you out with processing a return.
Do you offer International Shipping?
Shipping outside the US is currently unavailable while we evaluate better options for our international customers. Shopping from Canada? Visit rumpl.ca. In Australia or New Zealand? Visit rumpl.com.au.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Shop Pay, Amazon Pay, Klarna, and Affirm. Klarna and Affirm let you split your order into payments at checkout. We ship once your payment clears, usually by the next business day.
Do you have a discount code?
You can apply your code at check out and all of your eligible items will be discounted.
Don't have a discount code? Sign up for Rumpl emails and get 15% off your first order. It’s good once per customer on full-price gear, can’t be combined with other offers, and doesn’t apply to sale items, bundles, select products, or sitewide sales. Current offers live on our Promotions page.
When will a sold-out item be back?
If it’s coming back, tap Notify Me on the product page and we’ll email you when it restocks. Want it sooner? Check the product page for stores near you that carry it, where available. Limited editions and Rumpl Artist Division (RAD) collaborations are often one-time runs, so if one is gone, it may be gone for good.
I received the wrong item or something is missing from my order
We’re human, we make mistakes too. If we goofed and sent the wrong item, we’ll fix it lickety-split. Use our contact form, visit our Help Center, or contact us at info@rumpl.com to get started. Please include your order number.
Custom Orders
Customized MyRumpl blankets are delivered separately from non-custom orders and will take an estimated 1-2 weeks to ship.

Choosing Your Rumpl
What is a Rumpl blanket?
Rumpl is the Original outdoor blanket. We have been making the best and most versatile blankets in the market since 2014. They’re made from the same materials as a sleeping bag, so they pack down small and shake off dirt, sand, and pet hair. Try one for yourself! Explore our Puffy Blankets collection >
We have blankets made for outdoor recreation and for indoor use in a range of prints and sizes.
Which Rumpl blanket should I get?
Start with where it’ll spend most of its time.
- Original Puffy: the all-rounder for camping, picnics, sidelines, road trips, and the couch.
- Backcountry Puffy: our warmest and lightest, for cold nights and packing small.
- Campfire Puffy: an ember-resistant shell for sitting close to the fire.
- GameTime Puffy: a seat cushion and a Stadium-size blanket in one, for the bleachers.
- Travel Puffy: packs to about the size of a water bottle, for planes, trains, and road trips.
- Fleece Puffy: soft fleece on one side and a weather-resistant shell on the other, for the patio and the couch.
- Après Fleece: ultra-soft recycled fleece on both sides, made for the couch and the cabin.
- Merino SoftWool: merino wool and organic cotton, for the bedroom and living room.
Still deciding? Compare them side by side.
Do your blankets come in different sizes?
Yes! These are our current sizes:
- Mini: Flat: 28 x 40 in / 71 x 101 cm. For pets, little kids, and strollers.
- Compact Throw & Travel: Flat: 38 x 52 in / 96 x 132 cm. A personal size for kids, travel, the car, the office, or a wheelchair.
- Stadium: Flat: 50 x 70 in / 127 x 178 cm. A true throw size, exclusive to the GameTime Puffy.
- 1-Person: Flat: 52 x 75 in / 132 x 190 cm. Covers one adult head to toe, and the right size for most people.
- 2-Person: Flat: 84 x 80 in / 213 x 203 cm. For sharing, or for the bed.
Between two sizes? Size up. See the size guide
Will a 2-Person Rumpl fit a queen bed?
It’ll cover the top. At 84 x 80 inches, it’s two feet wider than a queen mattress, so you get about a foot of overhang on each side, but it won’t hang to the floor like a comforter.
How warm are your blankets?
While our Puffy blankets aren’t temperature rated, a 1-person or Travel-size should keep you plenty warm in 45° weather and above. Need something warmer? Cuddle up with a 2-Person size or layer two blankets. The Backcountry Puffy is our warmest, and for colder nights in camp, the Wrap Sack 20° Sleeping Bag is rated to 30°F comfort and 20°F limit.
What is NanoLoft®?
NanoLoft® is a synthetic insulation that mimics the properties of real down. It is made with a partially plant-based formula designed to maximize compression and rebound, enhance heat retention, and minimize clumping after washes. You’ll find it in the Backcountry Puffy, the Travel Puffy, and the Wrap Sack; most of our other Puffy Blankets use RenewaLoft™, our 100% recycled insulation.
Bonus: It also does not produce that usual down funk/odor!
Are Rumpl blankets waterproof?
Our Puffy Blankets are water-resistant, not waterproof. A PFAS-free DWR finish makes spills, dew, and light rain bead up and roll off, but a downpour or soaked ground will eventually get through. For a waterproof layer underneath, pair your blanket with a Pack Mat or Overland Mat.
Why does the shell feel slippery?
It’s slick on purpose: the smooth ripstop is what lets dirt, sand, water, and pet hair slide right off. If it keeps sliding off your shoulders, snap the Cape Clip® closed at your neck to wear it hands-free. Want something grippier for the couch? The Fleece Puffy has a soft fleece side that stays put.
Are Rumpl blankets noisy?
A little. The ripstop shell is the same fabric as a sleeping bag, so it makes a soft rustle when you move. If quiet matters, the Après Fleece and Merino SoftWool blankets are silent, and the Fleece Puffy is quieter on its fleece side.
Can I clip two Rumpl blankets together?
Yes! Any two same-size Rumpl blankets with Cape Clip® snaps clip together along their edges into one bigger blanket.
What are the loops for on a Rumpl blanket?
All of our Rumpl Puffy outdoor blankets include four corner loops to stake down to the ground, clip together in a number of ways, match perfectly with a Stash Mat, and any other use cases you can think of!
Does every print come in every size?
No. Many prints, including Parks Collection prints and Rumpl Artist Division (RAD) collaborations, are made in one size only. The sizes available for each print show on its product page, and if a size isn’t listed, we aren’t making that print in it.
What happened to your Down Blankets?
In 2024, we launched the all-new high performance Backcountry Puffy Blankets. In place of the Down Puffy Blanket, these sustainable blankets are made with an improved, partially plant-based version of our proprietary NanoLoft® insulation. This new insulation is designed to maximize compression and rebound, enhance heat retention, and minimize clumping after washes.
The Backcountry Puffy is 20% warmer, 25% more packable than the Original Puffy Blanket, making it the warmest, toughest, and most capable adventure blanket available from Rumpl.
Pillows & Mats
How big is the Camp Pillow?
Laid flat: 22 x 15 in / 56 x 38 cm
When packed: 14 x 9 x 7.5 in / 36 x 23 x 19 cm
How much does the Camp Pillow weigh?
It weighs about 2.1 lbs.
How do I adjust the loft of my Camp Pillow?
The loft of your Pillow can be accessed and adjusted by taking out the removable insert.
What's the difference between your Camp Pillow and Stuffable Pillowcase?
The Camp Pillow is a full-size, supportive, and adjustable pillow. The Stuffable Pillowcase is a case that turns into an instant pillow by doubling as storage for your clothes, towels, or other garments. It is also smaller in size than the Camp Pillow.
Which Rumpl mats are waterproof?
The Pack Mat and Pack Mat Micro have a 20K waterproof bottom, and the Overland Mat has a 10K waterproof canvas bottom. The Stash Mat is water-resistant, top and bottom. Every mat’s top is water-resistant, not waterproof, and every Rumpl mat is spot clean only.
Care
How should I wash and dry my Rumpl?
Puffy Blankets: Do not dry clean your blanket. Wash it at home or at a laundromat in a front-loading washer.
If your machine has an agitator in it - WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING IT as it may cause stitching to come loose from aggression and may damage your blanket.
We strongly recommend air drying. If you must use a dryer, use the lowest tumble setting with the heat turned off (low heat is OK if you’re short on time). Excessive heat can damage your blanket.
Merino SoftWool Blankets: These blankets are naturally anti-microbial and will need to be cleaned less frequently. When a refresh is necessary these blankets are recommended dry clean only.
Mats: Spot clean only. Shake off your mat, wipe it with a wet washcloth, and hang to dry.
PLEASE NOTE: Damage caused by not following these care instructions is not covered by The Rumpl Guarantee.
Can I use normal detergent to wash my Rumpl gear?
Short answer, no. Please use a performance wash to gently clean and maintain the water-resistant treatment.
Why is my blanket soaking up water?
The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish has probably been compromised by dirt or by conventional laundry detergent. Dirt attracts water, and household detergents leave water-attracting residue, so the fabric “wets out” in wet or damp conditions. Wash it with a tech wash, then use a wash-in water repellent to bring it back to its original condition.
How do I pack my Rumpl blanket?
Having trouble packing your Rumpl blanket back into its stuff sack? Stuff it, don’t fold it: push one corner to the bottom of the sack and keep feeding the blanket in by the handful. Pro tip from our product team: roll the top 4 times toward the logo before you clip it. Here is a video to help you out.
Packing a GameTime Puffy? It’s easier to stuff with the seat cushion slung over your shoulder. Indoor blankets and mats go back in easier, rolled or folded.
Can I get a replacement stuff sack?
Accidents happen and stuff sacks go missing, but don’t worry, Rumpl has you covered! Grab a Replacement Stuff Sack. If your stuff sack was damaged as part of a warranty defect, please contact our support team at info@rumpl.com.
Can I store my blanket in its stuff sack?
For a trip, sure: compressing your blanket is fine, and it’s what the stuff sack is for. Storing it in the sack for long stretches can flatten the insulation and make it less warm, though. Make sure it’s clean and dry before you pack it away, and take it out now and then to air out and get its loft back.
Why did the insulation shift after washing?
It’s usually the washer or dryer. A top-loader’s agitator or high dryer heat can pull insulation loose inside the quilted sections. Stick to a front-loader on gentle, and hang dry or tumble dry with no heat (low is OK). If your blanket has gone lumpy or thin in spots, email info@rumpl.com with photos and we’ll take a look. Manufacturing defects are covered by The Rumpl Guarantee.
How do I fix a burn hole or tear?
Use your blanket everywhere, but try to stay away from sharp or hot objects. If you do get a tear or small burn hole, patch it before it spreads with a NOSO Repair Patch or a fabric tape like Tenacious Tape™. Standard Puffy shells melt when embers land on them, so if you’re often close to the fire, the Campfire Puffy’s ember-resistant shell is built for it.
Materials & Sustainability
What is DWR?
DWR is short for Durable Water Repellent. It’s a coating applied to many pieces of outdoor gear and apparel to add water resistance. The DWR coating we use on our blankets is completely free of PFAS.
There have been concerns about the waste generated from the production and application of DWR, and we’ve worked with our suppliers to choose a treatment that significantly reduces byproducts.
What is post-consumer recycled?
Post-consumer recycled material had a life as something else, like a plastic water bottle, before it became your blanket. We’ve worked hard to incorporate post-consumer recycled materials into new and existing Rumpl products including the Original Puffy Blanket and the Backcountry Puffy Blanket. To date, we’ve kept more than 80 million plastic bottles out of landfills. Learn more here.
Do Rumpl products contain PFAS or other harmful chemicals?
Rumpl products featuring DWR and/or anti-microbial coatings contain zero PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) or PFCs (perfluorinated chemicals/perfluorocarbons). For more information, please visit our help center article.
Is Rumpl a B Corp?
Yes! Rumpl is a Certified B Corporation, independently verified for its social and environmental performance, and has been certified carbon neutral since 2019 through The Climate Label.
Are Rumpl products vegan friendly?
The only Rumpl product lines that are not vegan friendly are the discontinued Down Puffy Blanket and FeatherLite™ Puffy Blanket, and the Merino SoftWool™ blanket, which uses responsibly-sourced Australian merino wool. Otherwise, all other products that we make are completely vegan and use no animal products.
Where is Rumpl based?
We're headquartered in Northwest Portland, Oregon.
