I have been looking for a replacement sleeping bag as my old didn't have a bag, the other one was okay but wasn't as cozy as I wanted it, saw the ad for this one and had to get it, its like sleeping with my blankets at home to be honest. The spot for the pillow kept it in place the whole night. I got a little too hot, it was easy to stick my foot out to cool down a bit, I can't wait for my next trip to use it.
Bought this almost as soon as it was announced for a camping trip to Yellowstone first week of June. I am a newbie camper, but now that I've returned, here are my thoughts:
I was looking for a sleeping bag that would be comfortable with an average low of 28-34* F, that isn't the mummy style because I panic with my feet constricted, and is cute. The wrap sack seemed to be all that and a bag of chips. I also loved that you can adjust the layers based on how hot or cold you sleep. I sleep hot so I didn't bring extra blankets, just socks and hand warmers because I have Reynaud's in my fingers and toes ironically.
The wrap sack delivered on all its promises. I slept very comfortably except for my cold toes, but that's normal for me. Fixed that issue by putting on 2 pairs of socks with a hand warmer layered between. The last night was actually a bit warm so I undid part of the top layer. Such a genius idea! The matching camp pillow fit perfectly in the little hood and didn't slide much throughout the night.
My ONLY complaint is how bulky it is! Especially for the price. Even compressed down as much as possible, I ended up having to swap my hiking pack out for a small/medium sized suitcase, and it still took up around 3/4 of it. That's an area that could definitely use improving. It's great if space isn't too much of an issue.
Like rolling up in a warm tortilla and snuggling in for the night.

Tried out my new wrap sack this weekend- stayed warm and cozy all night, plenty of room to side sleep. Loved the double layer option and put it to good use! Cape clips are a learning curve, but doable, even for cold hands.
